The American Pet Food Dealers Association did a study to determine how many U.S. households own pets. After the study was completed they concluded that 63 percent of U.S. households own pets. The San Francisco Chronicle is doing a random sample of 300 households and 210 of those household’s own pets. This study has concluded that 70 percent of the households in the study had pets. From a numbers standpoint this data seems to disagree with the other study. One thing that has to be factored in is the fact that the San Francisco Chronicle only did a random sample with a small number of households. The American Pet Food Dealers Association did a larger study with the population. The fact that the results of both studies are within 10 percent of each other shows that the data of the sample agrees with the data of the other study. There are other factors that could have changed the sample in San Francisco, like the fact that the number of pets per household in San Francisco outnumbers the number of children (May 2007). The Bible is full of prophecies that have almost no statistical probability of happening but through a completely unprecedented series of events every prophecy was fulfilled. This shows that Jesus coming to earth and becoming our Messiah is not just a coincidence it was a God breathed plan from the beginning of time.
