The purpose of this assignment is
for you to summarize modern family planning options that are available.

  1. Sign up for a free Pinterest
    (https://www.pinterest.com/) account using your APUS email address.
  2. Follow the prompts and take the quick tour.
  3. When asked, “What are you interested in?,”
    type in “Contraception” to begin your search.
  4. Begin to review the pictures, journal articles,
    commercials, blogs, and anything else you find, and Pin those that you
    like to your board. Summarize the family planning option including its
    perfect use and typical use statistics, how it works, advantages,
    disadvantages, and note if a prescription is required.
  • To Pin, simply hover your mouse over what you wish to
    pin and the “Pin It!” icon will appear.
  • Click your mouse to pin.
  • You will then be prompted to name your board.
  • Name your board “CHFD220YourName” (Shirleyhunter)
    (NO SPACES!).
  • Next, write your summary of family planning options in
    the Description box provided.
  • Click Pin It!
  • You will receive a confirmation email from Pinterest.
    Be sure to click “Confirm Email” within 24 hours of opening your
    Pinterest account.
  • To submit, take a screen shot
    (http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/) of your bulletin board and paste it
    into a word processing document. Include the url of your bulletin board as
    well. Submit under the Assignments tab as usual.
