Letter of recommendation should have lots of specific examples that show the applicant’s abilities, character, desires for military service, personal traits, commitment, etc. Letter of recommendation should be no more than two pages and does not have to match the format of this example. Font size should be 12 to make it easier for board members to read. Do not use bullet format. Examples might include:
