Describe President Obama’s Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

This essay is supposed to describe an act of political courage from a U.S. elected official. I figured that Obama’s Affordable Care Act would be a good topic because it is relatively recent and is controversial. The essay must be between 700 and 1000 words, be in MLA format, have at least 5 sources, and have parenthetical citations. The essay should introduce the act, explain its main objectives, and explain its impact and the current effort to repeal it. It should be informative and an interesting read.
